We are now offering a half-day Tier 2 Behavior Interventions trainings once a month. The purpose of Tier 2 behavioral interventions is to serve the 10-20% of students who continue to exhibit behavior challenges while experiencing the supports within Tier 1. The goal of Tier 2 interventions is to reverse or reduce behavior challenges in order to prevent harm or a trajectory towards negative life outcomes.
The Tier 2 Behavior Interventions training will cover the intervention selection and planning process and review six options for Tier 2 interventions. Participants will receive resources, such as a handbook and intervention tools to both set up Tier 2 interventions and train staff at their site.
